Competitor pricing verified August 2026. Intercom seat costs are not included, and its figure is a ceiling because only resolved conversations are billed. Tidio buys AI conversations in quota tiers, so its figure is a floor that rises with volume.
Per resolution billing charges you for the wins
A resolution is the chatbot doing exactly what you installed it to do. At $0.99 each, 200 of them is $198 before a single seat is added, and the better the answers get the larger the invoice gets.
Seats are the second bill
The resolution fee sits on top of per seat pricing for the people in the inbox. For a small business where one or two people handle everything, that is a second subscription to carry for a tool that is mostly answering the same handful of questions.
Most of Intercom is not for a five page site
Intercom is a support platform with a help desk, workflows and reporting built for teams. If what you need is a chat on a WordPress site that answers questions at 11pm and emails you a phone number, you are paying to keep the rest of it switched on.
What the flat plan includes
$49 a month, 500 conversations included, no seat charges, and the AI included so there is no key to paste or provider account to open. If you reach your limit the chat switches to a simple contact form for the rest of the month and we email you. We never bill you for extra conversations.
